Description:	Our Health Benefit Services Division has a full-time opening for a Benefit Advocate Representative. This position serves as a resource to the members of the various health trusts that Health Benefit Services (HBS) administers. The role of HBS Benefit Advocate Representative is to resolve escalated healthcare claim issues and respond to member and provider inquiries to ensure total customer satisfaction, and negotiate claims discounts. Responsibilities also include providing accurate quotation of medical, dental, and vision benefits in accordance with appropriate plan provisions.
Qualifications:	Bachelor's degree preferred. Four years experience working with the public or in customer care required. Understanding of claim adjudication desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology or experience in healthcare, managed care, or insurance field preferred. Negotiations experience preferred. Project management experience preferred. Ability to adjust core work hours to meet the needs of the organization. Candidate must be able to multi-task under stressful situations. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite. Must have accurate typing skills of 60 words per minute. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
