    The Application Developer position is responsible for performing application development related activities in accordance with defined business requirements to achieve desired results.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Design, Develop and Test (Functionality) custom applications as assigned using primarily IBM Notes, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

    Analyze & Refine Requirements by reviewing assigned projects to determine if requirements are satisfactory, solution is feasible, and scope of work is aligned with ITS security standards

    Respond to production issues as they arise according to severity (defined in the Production Incidents process) to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner and customer communication meets expectations

    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree with major in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related field

    0-1 Year of IT related experience (see skills below)

    Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication

    Analyze complex technical data, such as, using logic and quantitative reasoning

    Strong desire and ability to work in a team environment

    Programming/Technical skills must include HTML, CSS, MySQL and CMS

    Willing to successfully complete online IBM Notes Development Training over the first year of employment
