We are a house of hospitality for immigrants, refugees, and widows in El Paso, Texas. Today we received a bundle of your blue tote bags with the Christian Brothers logo on the side. They were brought to us by Sister Betty Keegan, who is one of our community volunteers. She was recently at a conference and your representatives gave her these bags for us.
We would like to thank you for the donation and tell you what a blessing they are. When we receive immigrants who have crossed the border, they stay at our house for a night or two, then travel on to their families elsewhere in the U.S. We always send them on their way with a lunch/care package. Sometimes they have a long bus ride to get to their destinations. These bags are the perfect thing to pack their lunches and the sandwiches we send with them.
We appreciate the donation of your bags, they will be put to a good use for the "poorest of the poor" of the borderlands.
