What are refill limits? Are there refill penalties? What is RRA?
RRA stands for Retail Refill Allowance. If RRA is applicable to your plan (please check your rx plan summary), you will be allowed to fill your initial prescription at a retail pharmacy and then 2 subsequent refills at retail. After the 3rd fill at retail, you must fill your prescription using Express Scripts by Mail. You may continue to fill your prescription at the retail pharmacy. If you are a member of the Employee Benefit Trust, you will pay the mail order copay at retail for a 30 day supply. If you are a member of the Religious Medical Trust, you will pay the full cost of the prescription at retail.
