Each time you or your health care provider files a claim, an Explanation of Benefits, or EOB, is created explaining how we’ve calculated your benefits/payment. In an effort to help you better understand your EOB, click on the image below to view a video on how to read your EOB.

The EOB is not a bill. Rather, it provides details as to how benefits were applied to a particular claim. When you receive an EOB, you should review it closely and compare it to the receipt or statement given to you by your provider.
