Having a nest egg for retirement to build a source of income when wages and salaries cease is key to successful retired living. Now, Catholic Church employers can assist their employees to save for retirement on a pre-tax basis through the Christian Brothers Retirement Savings Plan.
The Christian Brothers Retirement Savings Plan is a 403(b) plan and is designed for employees who want to supplement their income at retirement by currently saving on a deferred basis, while still having the ability to withdraw on their account upon termination of employment.
The 403(b) plan is designed as an employer sponsored Plan. This Plan is administered by Christian Brothers Services and offers the employer flexibility in design, while providing the employer with the recognition of offering a quality benefit. An employer may match the employee’s contribution and/or pay any expenses related to administration, if desired. A group approach is by far the best approach for employees since it provides the best value in the most efficient way possible.
