Use this worksheet to get an estimate of how much you’ll need to retire comfortably and how much you’ll need to save to reach that goal.

If you are unsure which investment options to select
in your plan, complete a brief questionnaire and get specific fund advice
from Vanguard.

Can I Afford to Retire? This worksheet will help you determine how much money you’ll need to retire at your current standard of living, what benefits you can expect to get from Social Security, and how long your savings will last.

· Saving More Can Make a Big Difference.
Use this calculator to find the effect various pre-tax contribution rates will have on your paycheck, how your savings could grow if you increase your savings rate, and the amount you can save in federal taxes by investing in your plan.

· The Cost of Cashing Out of Your Plan.
If you are leaving your employer, this calculator will illustrate the effect of penalties and taxes on a distribution. It will also show how your money can continue to grow if you roll it over to an individual retirement account or another eligible plan.

· How Inflation Affects Savings.
This calculator allows you to enter information about yourself and find out how much your savings will be worth in your
retirement years.
