The Christian Brothers Employee Benefit Trust PPO plans have very few restrictions. This means you don’t have to select a primary care physician or need a referral when seeking treatment from a specialist. The Plan allows you the ability to see almost any doctor you choose, and covers you if you want to see an out-of-network provider. If you choose to see an out-of-network provider, be aware that your benefits will be reduced. When you choose a PPO provider, costs to you are reduced and you will receive a higher benefit level.
Using a PPO provider means:

Medical PPO’s
Your medical plan through the Christian Brothers Employee Benefit Trust has contracted with a PPO provider in your area to reduce the ultimate cost to you and to the Plan for medical treatment. We have spent much time researching PPO providers that can bring you the best choices of hospitals, physicians, specialists and other services to you. Dental PPO’s
The Christian Brothers Employee Benefit Trust has joined with Principal Financial Group to offer you a Dental Preferred Provider (PPO) Principal Plan Dental. With this dental plan, you are entitled to additional savings, discounted fees, and an out of pocket expense reduction. If you are unable to find a dental PPO provider in your area, you will be subject to normal dental benefits. This dental plan has an extensive national network, as well as a sophisticated claim system.
Vision Discount Program
VSP, or Vision Service Plan, is a well-known national vision plan that is provided to all participants who are enrolled for medical coverage. This program allows eligible members to receive discounts when visiting a VSP network doctor. With the VSP discount program, your ultimate out-of-pocket costs will be reduced.
